The Grand Hotel de'l Europe Built in 1869 now called Hotel Europa was always the residence of nobility and very soon was called the "number one house in Innsbruck". The Bavarian King Ludwig II once said, "This is the most desirable place in Innsbruck to celebrate a Festival".The Hotel Europa situated in the centre of the city, just opposite the train station offers flair of noble comfort. The owner, Mr. Otto Plattner together with his team, creates an atmosphere that is recognized and appreciated by prominent guests from all over the world such as Queen Elizabeth II. This hotel offers 122 elegantly decorated rooms that have been equipped with modern amenities for your comfort and convenience. All rooms include private bathroom, air conditioning, satellite and pay TV, clock radio, hairdryer, telephone, safety box, mini-bar and noise reduction windows.Here we several meeting and banquet rooms to chose from.On the first floor is our "Barocksaal", an architectural master piece built in 1883 by the same gentleman who built the 3 bavarian castles of King Ludwig II. Today this huge room is monument protected and its size unique. The "Meinhardsaal" on mezzanine level has capacity for up to 70 persons. The meeting room faces the court yard and has natural daylight and is also air conditioned. Our elegant Theresiensalon with mahagony panelling can be used for events up to 65 persons. It is situated on the ground floor, near the hotel lobby and the hotel bar. The Theresiensalon can be used in combination with the Tiroler Adlersalon for up to 100 persons. The Tiroler Adler Salon provides an appropriate setting for festivities up to 16 persons. The Alte Stube is situated on the rear side of our restaurant to the quiet courtyard. The Gothic arch gives this room its special ambiance. The business center is at your complete disposition for meetings up to 6 persons. Our award winning restaurant (Europast?¼berl) offers seasonal and regional specialities which you can enjoy in our carved alcoves. Our creative kitchen works and uses indigenous products and recipes. This is the quiet cozy meeting place in Hotel Europa where you can relax and enjoy a glass of champagne or one of our refreshing cocktails while listening to classical background music.When you want to relax come to our Sauna Area to switch off from the every day drone and enjoy the peace. New Highway exit from east and west on the A12:
- Take exit Innsbruck Mitte, and exit in the roundabout direction Innsbruck Zentrum (you see the football stadium then on your left). - Keep straight till the next roundabout and take the 3rd exit where the ice stadium will be on your left. - Keep straight over the bridge and keep right. - After the bridge, immediately turn right and keep straight, a BP petrol station will be on your right, keep going straight and you will arrive at the train station. - The Hotel Europa Tyrol is the last house on the left hand side, yellow.
To enter the car park: - After the BP petrol station keep straight and at the second set of lights keep right and turn immediately after the traffic light into the parking on your right hand side underneath the very modern black building. - In the garage follow the yellow signs to the hotel and enter the hotel through the Europa Tunnel.
