Location
From Schiphol Airport:
The shuttle bus to Amsterdam lasts 35-40 min and costs EUR 12 per person. It does not stop at the hotel, but ask the driver to stop at the corner of Herengracht and Raadhuisstraat, from where it is only a 3 minute walk to the hotel. We recommend you buy a one-way ticket, as the service from the hotel to the airport is not available from our hotel.
By Taxi:
- From Schiphol Airport: approximately 20 minutes, about EUR 35.
- From Amsterdam Central Station: 5 minutes, about EUR 10.
By Train:
- From Schiphol Airport to Central Station Amsterdam: duration 12-20 minutes.
This train leaves every 6 to 10 minutes. A one-way ticket costs EUR 3.50 per person.
By Tram from Central Railway Station:
Take either tram 1, 2, 5, 13 or 17 as far as the Dam stop (only a 5 minute walk from the hotel)..
Room
The rooms vary in size from small to large due to the age of the building. They are modern but simple in style, although some still retain their original wooden beams which are typical of the buildings from this century. Along with the bathrooms, their condition is fair to good. A very small percentage have, however, been totally renovated in modern style, and are in very good condition..
Lobby
In contrast to the traditional exterior, the small lobby is more modern, but there are still strong touches of tradition. This area also includes a cozy bar and comfortable lounge area..

It is uniquely set in four 17th century houses right on the city's most prestigious canals. The facade is typical of this distinct style..

The hotel is close to almost everything, from the Kalverstraat and ‘9 straatjes’ shopping areas (unique small shops around the hotel in the Jordaan district), to the most important tourist attractions such as museums, art galleries and monuments like Anne Frank House, Rembrandt House, Madame Tussauds and Oude Kerk.
