The North Star Hotel & Premier Club Suites is a superior 3-star hotel located in the heart of Dublin, opposite the Irish Financial Services Centre (IFSC), Connolly railway station, Luas tram stop and just around the corner from the central bus station (Busarus). The hotel is a short walk from Temple Bar, O'Connell Street, Trinity College as well as shopping districts including Henry Street and Grafton Street. The hotel has its own gym, which is open to residents only. The gymnasium, complimentary to residents, encompasses a complete line of cardiovascular equipment, racks and benches. Guests can also benefit from the hotel’s Scandinavian designed sauna. The award winning Bianconi Restaurant offers a fine display of cuisine to please even the most discerning palate. The restaurant offers the best of both international and traditional Irish delights. In addition there is a traditionally styled Irish bar with an impressive bar menu and a beer garden. The beer garden is covered, fully heated and features plasma screens showing all the latest in sport. Rooms measure 21 sqm and are located in the Georgian west wing of the hotel. Each guest room is tastefully decorated and bright.

Restaurant
The North Star Hotel has a tradition for personal service, excellent cuisine and comfort. The award-winning Bianconi Restaurant offers fine cuisine. Bianconi is proud of its international and Irish food and friendly and professional staff.
McCoy's is the hotel's traditionally styled Irish bar and has a great atmosphere, a bar menu and some traditional beers. The beer garden was added with the smoker in mind, and is covered, fully heated and features plasma screens showing the latest sport.

Area
Dublin, with its Georgian elegance, its medieval bustle and its 20th century buzz offers something for all visitors. The hotel is situated in the city centre, directly opposite Dublin Connolly railway station. The hotel is within walking distance of all of the city’s major attractions and the business districts, such as O'Connell Street, Temple Bar and the IFSC.
Location
By Air:
The hotel is approximately 6.5 miles (10.5 km) from Dublin Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport and the journey from the airport to the hotel should take about 20 minutes. Several buses run regularly from the airport to the city centre. Recommended are the Airlink 747 and 748. Airlink tickets can be bought in the airport at the Bus and Rail Information desk, the Dublin Tourism Information desk or on the bus. The number 41 and 41B regular buses are reasonably direct, but take longer due to more stops. The bus stop for the hotel is around an 8-minute walk from the hotel. Other buses go to the city centre, but these may take much longer due to their routes and are not advisable.
By Train (DART/LUAS):
The hotel is directly opposite Dublin Connolly railway station. Trains run regularly between Connolly station and Sligo, Belfast and Wexford/Rosslare. Heuston station is the second train station for the rest of Ireland and has direct connections with Connolly Station by LUAS, bus, or taxi. DART is the Dublin Area Rapid Transit system, a suburban railway. LUAS is a modern light rail transit system comparable to a tram or above-ground metro.
By Boat/Ferry
Ferries to Dublin arrive at Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire Port. Dublin Port is a 3-minute drive from the hotel and the city centre. Those arriving at Dun Laoghaire can take the DART, a bus or a taxi into town.
By Bus (from Busaras Bus Station):
Busaras Station, just a 2-minute walk from the hotel is where most, if not all, provincial bus services from Dublin depart and arrive.
By Taxi:
A taxi rank is located directly opposite the hotel at Connolly station. Taxis have meters and upon request they will give you a receipt.
By Bus.
Amiens Street is the nearest bus stop to the hotel and is serviced by the following bus routes 130, 151, 20b, 27, 27b, 27c, 42, 42a, 42b, 43 and 90. Please note that bus numbers in both directions are the same. Only the end destination name will indicate in which direction the bus is going. Bus stops are not called out or visible on a screen. However, you can ask the driver to give you a warning when your bus stop is up.
Parking:
The hotel’s own park is available for guests. Please note that the hotel has also have arranged for guests to use the Connolly car park directly opposite the hotel at the same charge. The entrance to the car park is on Lower Sheriff Street, directly opposite. A right turn into Lower Sherrif Street is not allowed.
